TAP Opens New Center in Kampala, Uganda

The Ayin Project Team

As The Ayin Project continues to expand its efforts in Uganda, we are thrilled to announce the opening of our new office in Kampala at the beginning of October 2024. This milestone marks a new phase in our journey to implement needed sustainable water solutions. Our new center will serve as a hub for research, innovation, and collaboration, and we believe it will play a critical role in providing impactful solutions in the water development sector.

The new center’s purpose is to unify key activities such as water quality analysis, data collection, education, project development, and implementation. By fostering collaboration with local and international partners, researchers, and communities, we ensure that every project is driven by best practices and customized to address the region’s specific needs effectively.

UN Water for Prosperity and Peace

This move comes at a crucial time as the 2024 UN Water Report highlights the need for a sixfold increase in efforts to address water development challenges in Sub-Saharan Africa (UN, 2024, p.14). We are determined to be part of this sixfold effort, and our new center in Kampala is a step forward in making a tangible impact on water-related issues that affect millions of lives.

We invite you to join us in this mission. By supporting our team through salaries, equipment, operations, or direct project contributions, you can help resource our efforts and ensure we are equipped to address the urgent water challenges facing communities in Uganda, East Africa, and beyond. Together, we can create lasting change and improve access to clean water for generations to come.

Your support is vital as we strive to make a difference. Thank you for believing in our work and for being part of this transformative journey.
